Abstract
The crime of smuggling migrants threatens the security and stability of countries, especially with the significant increase in the activities of organized criminal groups in the field of smuggling migrants and other related criminal activities, which cause great harm to the countries concerned, in addition to what smuggling of migrants poses a threat to the life and security of the migrants themselves, which necessitated intensifying efforts international organizations to deal with this crime by signing agreements between countries to combat it and reduce smuggling cases.
As most of the countries concerned with the smuggling of migrants seek to coordinate among themselves in light of the circumstances that necessitated the necessity of international cooperation to confront this phenomenon after the rapid failure of various individual policies; This is after the growing sense of the problem and the inevitability of joint treatment of it within international efforts and its region or through bilateral agreements between countries.
